In 2013, we completed a feasibility study for the renovation of Russ Chandler Baseball Stadium. The goal was to incorporate all the baseball team functions to one area of the stadium, provide amenity options an upgraded fan experience, and provide a defined entrance to the stadium.
The existing player training functions were either: off-site, insufficient, or in a different part of the stadium. The stadium master plan brought all the player functions to field level behind the home dugout. The master plan included renovating the locker rooms, lounge, training, equipment, and mud room. It also proposed all new training facilities including team meeting, strength & conditioning, batting cages, and a pitching lab. The concourse level includes: a multi-function space that provides a new front door to the stadium, enlarged concession, code compliant restrooms, and upgrade club and suites amenity behind home plate.
