Heery’s sports facility design group designed a new 4,000-seat football stadium for the Colorado School of Mines. The $15.2 million project includes a general seating grandstand with restrooms, concessions, press box and VIP area; a 48,000 SF Athletic Facility with strength and conditioning, training, hydrotherapy, equipment, meeting rooms, auditorium, football and track locker rooms and coaches offices.
“This facility is amazingly transformative and will have an immediate impact on our entire department, as well as our alumni, fans, students and the community of Golden,” said David Hansburg, director of athletics at Colorado School of Mines. “I can’t wait to see how the next year goes and all the people this facility will impact.”
