Wake Forest – Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum

Lead Designer
Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum was built in 1989 by the city of Winston Salem. Wake Forest recently purchased the facility from the city and tasked my team with developing a masterplan for renovating the existing facility.

We developed a 60 page study that outlined a comprehensive plan that could be broken into phases for enhancing the game day experience for fans and athletes, as well as providing new revenue generating amenity features. This masterplan developed concepts such as rightsizing, concourse neighborhoods, and family zones, as well as a variety of clubs to cater to the entire pyramid of access from Moricle club members to the tie dye nation.
